when the Maker perfected their structure.

The All-Merciful made him dwell in a garden,

playing with the houris and its youths.

by his All-Merciful One were its youths around him.

When he came to the dune of the sanctuary,

seeking, for the eyes, their All-Merciful One.

If our souls knew their own essence,

they would have taught the recitation of their Qur'an in union.

within them, so they do not know their qurqān [unclear; possibly 'discernment'].
