هذي أتتك بها رُسلُ الهدى سحراً

هذي أتتك بها رُسلُ الهدى سحراً

فبالهدى أنت مهديٌّ وهاديكا

فبالهدى أنت مهديٌّ وهاديكا

The messengers of guidance brought you this before dawn.

These were brought to you by messengers of guidance as magic,

Thus, through guidance you are guided, and your guide is

So with guidance you are guided and your guide.

ربٌّ حباك به حُباً وتكرمةً

ربٌّ حباك به حُباً وتكرمةً

فاصغِ إليه جزاءً إذ يناديكا

فاصغِ إليه جزاءً إذ يناديكا

a Lord who bestowed it on you out of love and honor.

The Lord loved you with it, loving-kindness and honor,

So listen attentively to him in return when he calls you.

So listen to it as a reward when it calls you.

فأنتَ أكرمُ من نرجو عواطفه

فأنتَ أكرمُ من نرجو عواطفه

ولا يغرنَك ما تأتي أعاديكا

ولا يغرنَك ما تأتي أعاديكا

For you are the most generous of those whose kindness we hope for.

For you are more generous than we hope for your feelings,

And do not be deceived by what your enemies bring

And do not let what comes to you as enemies deceive you.

بهم إليك فهم أعداء ما جهلوا

بهم إليك فهم أعداء ما جهلوا

واجعل له منزلَ التنزيلِ ناديكا

واجعل له منزلَ التنزيلِ ناديكا

with them to you, for they are enemies of what they do not know.

With them to you, they are enemies of what they ignored,

And make the abode of revelation your gathering place for him.

And make for it the station of revelation your caller.

وقل له الهدى يا منتهى أملي

وقل له الهدى يا منتهى أملي

إني وحقك ما أعصى مناديكا

إني وحقك ما أعصى مناديكا

And speak guidance to him: “O utmost of my hope,

And say to it, "Guidance, O my ultimate hope,

indeed, by your right, I do not disobey your caller—

I, by your right, do not disobey the caller to you."

محمداً خيرَ مبعوثٍ يقول إذا

محمداً خيرَ مبعوثٍ يقول إذا

يرمي لصاحبه إني أفاديكا

يرمي لصاحبه إني أفاديكا

Muhammad, the best of those sent, who says, when

Muhammad the best of messengers says, when

he shoots, to his companion: ‘Indeed, I would ransom you.’”

He casts to his companion, "I will benefit you."
