التَّبُّruin منamong صفةِthe attribute of اليدينthe two hands لأنهاbecause it
التَّبُّ من صفةِ اليدين لأنها
جادتْgave generously علىto الكفارthe unbelievers بالإنفاقِthrough spending
جادتْ على الكفار بالإنفاقِ
Ruin is an attribute of the two hands, for they
Giving is a trait of the hands for they
gave generously to the unbelievers through spending.
Have been generous to the infidels with charity
وكلاهماand both of them عينُthe very essence of الهلاكdestruction ونفسهand its very self
وكلاهما عينُ الهلاك ونفسه
فالهلكthus destruction فيin الأملاكِpossessions والإرفاقِand giving aid
فالهلك في الأملاكِ والإرفاقِ
And both are the very essence of destruction, destruction itself;
And both are the essence of ruin and the soul
thus destruction lies in possessions and in giving aid.
So ruin is in possessions and generosity
نفقتْperished يمينيmy right hand وهوand that عينthe very essence of هلاكهاits destruction
نفقتْ يميني وهو عين هلاكها
أينwhere الهلاكُdestruction منfrom اسمهHis name الخلاَّقِthe Ever-Creating
أين الهلاكُ من اسمه الخلاَّقِ
My right hand perished, and that is its very destruction.
My right hand spent while it's the essence of its ruin
How far destruction is from His name, the Ever-Creating!
Where is ruin in the name The Creator?
لولاwere it not for وجودُthe existence of القبضِwithholding ماnot انبسطتْwas outstretched لناto us
لولا وجودُ القبضِ ما انبسطتْ لنا
كفُّthe palm of الكريمِthe Generous One بسِيبهِwith His bounty الغَيداقِcopious
كفُّ الكريمِ بسِيبهِ الغَيداقِ
Were there no withholding, there would not be outstretched to us
If not for the existence of grasping, the palm
the palm of the Generous One, with His copious bounty.
Of the generous wouldn't have opened with his flowing charity
