لمnot يبدreveal للأبصارto the eyes غيرother than وجودِهHis being
Indeed, He whose generosity opened the treasuries
The one whose generosity unlocked the treasuries
has revealed to the eyes nothing but His being.
Showed nothing to the eyes but his existence

And determination belongs to the entities; His essence has nothing
And the judgment belongs to the notables, not to his essence
but receptivity to it, by virtue of His witnessing.
Except acceptance of him by virtue of witnessing him

He manifests their determinations in His own being,
He is the manifestation of their rulings in his eye
when He became determinate as a locus of manifestation for His servants.
When he was manifested as a manifestation to his servants

No aspect of His description is greater than self-sufficiency;
No aspect is greater than the richness in his description
through self-sufficiency He is delimited, in our view, by its bounds.
With the richness that was defined for us within its limits

And when the matter is thus, there has always remained
And when the matter is this, he has not ceased
the necklace's thread, firmly fixed on His neck.
Wearing the necklace fixed on his neck

We indeed behold Him and know that He
We do see him and know that he
is adorned with us, and His adornment comes from His generosity.
Is our state, and his ornaments are from his generosity
إناwe indeed جعلناwe have made ماwhat عليناupon us زينةan adornment
لوجودِهfor His being بعقودِهwith His necklaces وعقودهand His covenants
We have indeed made what we bear an adornment
We have made that which is upon us an adornment
for His being, with His necklaces and His covenants.
For his existence, with its nodes and contracts
فإذاso when أناI أوفيتهI give Him His due ألزمتهI oblige Him
ذاكthat الوفاءfaithfulness بعينهitself, exactly لعهودهto His covenants
So when I give Him His due, I oblige Him
So when I have fulfilled it, I obliged it
to that very faithfulness to His covenants.
To that fulfillment in itself for his pledges
