If a servant feels jealousy on God's behalf, having seen

bounty from God bestowed on an unbeliever,

against his will—and God knows his state—

and God is not unjust concerning what the servant intends.

And habits veil him, since their rule

was running its course at his door, while the Real is not manifest.

He punishes him with the grave in a land of estrangement,

by day and by night, while the Guardian conceals.
