فيهاin it النقيضانthe two opposites فيهاin it الفوزُsuccess والعَطَبُand ruin
فيها النقيضان فيها الفوزُ والعَطَبُ
I marveled at the nature of a dwelling that is all wonder.
I'm amazed at the state of an abode that's all amazement
In it are the two opposites; in it are success and ruin.
In it are opposites, in it success and failure
يلتذtakes pleasure شخصٌa person بماin what يشقىsuffers سواهsomeone other than him بهbecause of it
يلتذ شخصٌ بما يشقى سواه به
لذاكَfor that reason جئتُI came بقوليwith my saying كلهاall of it عجبwonder
لذاكَ جئتُ بقولي كلها عجب
One person delights in what brings another misery.
One takes pleasure in what makes another miserable
That is why I said, 'All of it is wonder.'
Therefore my saying is all amazement

Excellent is our mount, if you have insight.
Yes, our riding-beast is a blessing, if you can see
In it the veils are lifted, and in it they are lowered.
In it one mounts up, and in it the veil is lowered
