كيف يخشى فؤاد من ليس يخشى
غيرother than محبوبهhis beloved القديمthe eternal ويرجوand hopes
غير محبوبه القديم ويرجو
How can the heart of one be afraid who fears
How can a heart fear one who fears naught
none but his eternal beloved, in whom he hopes?
Save its ancient beloved, and hope anew?
كلُّevery قلبٍheart قدindeed داخلتهhave entered it حظوظshares
كلُّ قلبٍ قد داخلته حظوظ
منfrom كيانِessence العلىsublimity فذاso this القلبُthe heart ينجوis saved
من كيانِ العلى فذا القلبُ ينجو
Every heart into which shares have entered
Each heart pervaded by gifts from on high
from the essence of sublimity—that heart is saved.
Of the Most Exalted's essence shall rest secure.
