أمنك الله وسلطانه

أمنك الله وسلطانه

على الذي أنت به قائمُ

على الذي أنت به قائمُ

God and His sovereign have entrusted you

May God protect you and empower you

with that which you oversee.

With what you stand for

فاحكم بما تعلمه لاتنِ

فاحكم بما تعلمه لاتنِ

فإنك المسؤول يا حاكمُ

فإنك المسؤول يا حاكمُ

So judge by what you know; do not falter,

So rule with what you know, do not lean

for you are accountable, O judge.

For you will be questioned, O ruler

يحكم عدل الله فيكم كما

يحكم عدل الله فيكم كما

أنت به في خلقه حاكمُ

أنت به في خلقه حاكمُ

God's justice judges among you, just as

May God's justice rule over you all as

you judge by it among His creatures.

You rule over His creation, O ruler

وأنتم أهلٌ لما نلتم

وأنتم أهلٌ لما نلتم

في ظننا وربُّنا العالم

في ظننا وربُّنا العالم

And you are worthy of what you have attained,

And you are worthy of what you attained

in our estimation, and our Lord is the Knower.

In our view, and our Lord is the All-Knowing

وحرّر الميزان يا سيدي

وحرّر الميزان يا سيدي

فإنه العادلُ والقاسمُ

فإنه العادلُ والقاسمُ

And set the balance aright, my lord,

Make the scale even, my master

for it is just and apportions.

For it is the fair and the judge

وقد علمتم أنني ناصحٌ

وقد علمتم أنني ناصحٌ

ومشفقٌ وما أنا زاعم

ومشفقٌ وما أنا زاعم

And you know that I am a sincere adviser

And you know I'm an advisor

and compassionate, and I am not merely making claims.

Concerned, not making claims

فلتعصمْ بحبله إنه

فلتعصمْ بحبله إنه

كما علمت الحافظُ العاصم

كما علمت الحافظُ العاصم

So hold fast to His rope; indeed, He is,

So hold onto His rope, for He

as you know, the Preserver, the Protector.

As you know, is the Protector, the Preserver

واحذر من المكر فقد يختفي

واحذر من المكر فقد يختفي

فإنه القاهر والقاصم

فإنه القاهر والقاصم

And beware of the stratagem, for it may be hidden;

And beware of plots, for they may be hidden

for He is the Subduer and the Shatterer.

For He is the Subduer, the Breaker
