فقال الهاتف فغايتك الوصولُ إلى الغواني

Circumambulations upon my circumambulation through meanings.

Then the caller said: Your goal is to reach the fair maidens.

Then the unseen caller said: Your goal, then, is to reach the fair women.

فقال فكم من طائف ما نال إلا

فقال فكم من طائف ما نال إلا

فقال الهاتف ملاحظة من الحورِ الحِسان

فقال الهاتف ملاحظة من الحورِ الحِسان

He said: Yet how many a circler has attained nothing but—

Then he said: For many a circumambulator has attained nothing but

The caller said: A glimpse of the lovely houris.

Then the unseen caller said: A glance from the beautiful houris.

فقال وكم من طائفٍ ما نال إلا

فقال وكم من طائفٍ ما نال إلا

فقال الهاتف عِيانا من عيانٍ في عيانِ

فقال الهاتف عِيانا من عيانٍ في عيانِ

He said: And how many a circler has attained nothing but—

Then he said: And many a circumambulator has attained nothing but

The caller said: Direct beholding, from direct beholding, within my own direct beholding.

Then the unseen caller said: Direct vision from direct vision within direct vision.
