ألاbehold إنَّindeed علمَknowledge of الصبحِthe dawn يعسرis difficult دَركُهgrasping it
كشِقشقةِlike the gurgling of الفحلthe camel stallion الفَنيقِthe pampered one إذاwhen رغاhe bellows
Behold, knowledge of the dawn is hard to grasp,
Like the gurgling of the pampered camel stallion when he bellows.
فماso what is ذلكthat الأمرmatter الذيwhich قدalready سمعتهyou heard it
وماand what is ذلكthat الأمرmatter الذيwhich بالرغاin the bellowing طغاoverflowed
So what is that matter that you have heard?
And what is that matter that overflowed in the bellowing?
إذاif ما(emphasis) ابتغىseeks شخصٌsomeone جليةthe clear truth of أمرهhis affair
فقدthen indeed جئتكمI have come to you all أعطيI give فأينso where is مَنthe one who ابتغىseeks
If someone seeks the clear truth of his affair,
Then I have come to you to give—so where is the one who seeks?
فلاso do not تبغِtransgress إنَّindeed البغيَtransgression للشخصِto a person مُهلكٌruinous
فقدfor perhaps يحرمُis forbidden استعمالُهits use فيهin him إنْif بغىhe transgresses
So do not transgress: transgression is ruinous to a person.
For its use in him may be forbidden if he transgresses.
