إن الظنونَ على الوجوهِ مُحالُ

إن الظنونَ على الوجوهِ مُحالُ

أهل التفكير هكذا قد قالوا

أهل التفكير هكذا قد قالوا

Conjectures about faces are indeed impossible;

so have the people of reflection said.

والكشفُ يقضي أنها لحياتها

والكشفُ يقضي أنها لحياتها

فيها لها عند الشهود مجالُ

فيها لها عند الشهود مجالُ

Yet unveiling declares that, by virtue of their life,

they have scope within them in witnessing.

شهدتْ بذلكم الجوارحُ عندنا

شهدتْ بذلكم الجوارحُ عندنا

في النور إذ جاءت بها الأرسال

في النور إذ جاءت بها الأرسال

The limbs have testified to that before us,

in the Light, when the messengers came bearing it.
