وإنَّ نزاعي فيه أيضاً من القدر
The decrees of fate contend with me over what I seek,
The fates contend with me in what I aspire,
And indeed, my contention over it, too, is part of fate.
And my contention with them is also preordained.

فمنها أمانُ الخائفين مع الحذرِ
So my judgment upon them—if you ponder it—is through them;
If I judge them when I contemplate them,
So from them comes safety for the fearful, along with caution.
From them comes the security of the fearful with caution.

Opposites arising from them stand opposed, just as
The opposites have met, like the meeting
The Names stand opposed in benefit and harm.
Of names with benefit and harm.

So all the opposing things within the universe
Everything in the universe made of opposites
Are part of knowing God, the Magnificent, for whoever reflects.
Is from the knowledge of God, the Great, for those who observe.

Submit, entrust, rely and depend - for there may come
What pleases you will come to you, walking in accord with fate.
What you are pleased with, walking on fate’s path.
