Blessed is a Lord, ever exalted in majesty,
Blessed is my Lord, lofty, transcendent
free from constitutive differentia and definition.
Above defining limits and measurements
تعالىExalted is He فلاso no كونٌbeing يقاومrivals كونهHis being

Exalted is He: no being rivals His being;
Exalted, no universe can resist His universe
unveiling speaks of Him through the singular sign.
Revealed by inner knowledge of the Unique

He became distinct in a new creation, distinguished
Distinct in creating the new, the distinct
by His most beautiful names and by taking the covenant.
Through His beautiful Names and keeping His pledge
فقلتso I said لهto Him منwho أنتYou ياO منone whom جهلتهI did not know Him
فقالthen he said المناديthe caller ذوpossessor of الثناءpraise وذوand possessor of المجدglory
So I said to Him, “Who are You, O You whom I did not know?”
I asked, "Who are you, whom I did not know?"
The caller replied, “The Possessor of praise and of glory.”
The Caller, of praise and glory, said
كمثلِlike الصدىthe echo كانwas الحديثthe speech فمنso whoever يقلsays
خلافcontrary to الذيwhat قدalready قلتهI said it خابfailed فيin القصدthe aim
The speech was like an echo; so whoever says
Like an echo the words came, so let him who says
the contrary of what I have said has failed in his aim.
Other than what I have said, fail in his aim
فمنso whoever يدرknows سرَّthe secret of الفردthe One لمnot يجهلbe ignorant of الذيwhat
يجيءcomes بهwith it الفردthe One الوحيدُthe solitary منfrom العدّnumber
So whoever knows the secret of the One is not ignorant of what
So who knows the secret of the Unique, did not ignore Him
the solitary One brings forth from number.
Who comes with the unique from the absent

And there is none but Him, though the entities are many,
And none other than He, though eyes are many
and the epithets applied to Him differ, even in absence.
And titles differ regarding Him, despite loss
