تعالى وجود الذات عن نيل ناظرٍ

فإنَّ وجودَ الذاتِ لله عينها

فإنَّ وجودَ الذاتِ لله عينها

The Essence's existence is exalted beyond a beholder's reach.

For God, the existence of the Essence is the Essence itself.

وذاك اختصاصٌ بالإله ولا تقل

وذاك اختصاصٌ بالإله ولا تقل

بأنّ ذوات الخلقِ كالحقِ كونها

بأنّ ذوات الخلقِ كالحقِ كونها

And that is exclusive to God; do not say

that the essences of creation are like the Real in their being.

تغيرتِ الأحكام لما تغايرت

تغيرتِ الأحكام لما تغايرت

بألفاظه الأنساب فالبينُ بينها

بألفاظه الأنساب فالبينُ بينها

The judgments changed as differences arose

among the relationships expressed in His words; so separation lies between them.

فمن شاء فليقطع ومن شاء فليصلْ

فمن شاء فليقطع ومن شاء فليصلْ

فذلك ستر فيه للذاتِ صونها

فذلك ستر فيه للذاتِ صونها

So whoever wishes, let him sever; and whoever wishes, let him join.

So that is a veil within which the Essence is safeguarded.
