لم يأتِ غيري بمثل قولي

لم يأتِ غيري بمثل قولي

فكلُّ ما قلت عنه قلته

فكلُّ ما قلت عنه قلته

No one else has brought forth the like of my words.

None has brought the like of my words,

So everything I said about Him—I said it.

For all I have said of it, I have said it.

لا بل هو العينُ من وجودي

لا بل هو العينُ من وجودي

فحيثُ ما كان ثم كنتهْ

فحيثُ ما كان ثم كنتهْ

No—rather, He is the very essence of my existence.

Nay, it is the very essence of my existence,

So wherever He was, there I was He.

Wherever it was, there I was.

حقاً فما في الوجود غير

حقاً فما في الوجود غير

تراه عيني إذا شهدته

تراه عيني إذا شهدته

Truly, there is no other in existence

In truth, there is naught in existence

whom my eye sees when I behold Him.

Except what mine eyes see when they regard it.

والله لولا وجود لولا

والله لولا وجود لولا

ما جهل الخلق ما أردته

ما جهل الخلق ما أردته

By God, were it not for the existence of 'were it not for',

By God, were it not for existence, were it not

created beings would not have been ignorant of what I intended.

For creation's ignorance of what I intended.
