A maiden donned, from our hand,
A maid of ours has donned
a patchwork robe through which she attained perfection itself;
A rag with which she attained the height of perfection.
خرقةًa patchwork robe دينيةًreligious عُلويةheavenly
ألحقتْهاit brought her بمقاماتِto the stations الرجالِof men
a religious, heavenly robe
A religious, transcendent rag
that brought her to the spiritual stations of men.
She has attached to the stations of men.

ثوبَa garment عزٍّof honor وقبولٍand acceptance وجَمالِand beauty
And likewise God has clothed her
And thus has God clothed her
in a garment of honor, acceptance, and beauty,
In a robe of dignity, acceptance, and beauty,
وضياءٍand radiance وسناءٍand eminence وسناand light
واعتدالٍand balance وبَهاءٍand splendor وجلالِand majesty
and radiance, eminence, and light,
And splendor, glory, and brilliance,
and balance, splendor, and majesty.
And balance, radiance, and majesty.

Whenever I behold her, I am lost to myself
Whenever I look upon her, she takes me away
by the beauty I see in her charm and coquetry.
From all I see of the charm of curves and allure.
حَفِظَmay preserve اللهGod عليهاfor her عهدهاher covenant
وعليناand upon us حفظُهاsafeguarding her طولَthroughout اللياليthe nights
May God preserve her covenant for her,
May God preserve her vow
and we must safeguard her through all the nights.
And ours to guard her through the long nights.
