ياO مَنزلاًa dwelling ماnot لهit has نظيرan equal
يا مَنزلاً ما له نظير
لمdid not يبقَleave remaining سكناكyour habitation فيin الصدورthe hearts
لم يبقَ سكناك في الصدور
O dwelling without equal,
O unparalleled abode
your habitation left in the hearts no
Your dwelling in hearts persisted not
هماsorrow (contextual reading) فتمُso it was perfected (uncertain reading) بذاكthrough that قدراًin rank
هما فتمُ بذاك قدراً
علىabove المقاصيرthe private chambers والقصورِand the palaces
على المقاصير والقصورِ
sorrow; thus your rank was perfected [uncertain reading],
For that was ordained
above private chambers and palaces.
Upon palaces and mansions
ولمand has not يزلceased منwhoever تكونyou are مأوىa refuge
ولم يزل من تكون مأوى
لهfor him علىin أكملthe fullest السرورjoy
له على أكمل السرور
And whoever has you as a refuge remains
And never ceased to be the refuge
in the fullest joy,
For those in utmost joy
فيin غبطةbliss وانتظامِand the orderly arrangement of أمرٍaffairs
في غبطة وانتظامِ أمرٍ
فيكwithin you إلىuntil آخرthe end of الدهورthe ages
فيك إلى آخر الدهور
in bliss and well-ordered affairs,
In felicity and orderly affair
within you until the end of the ages.
In you until the end of time
