أنضى الركاب إلى ربِّ السموات

أنضى الركاب إلى ربِّ السموات

وانبذ عن القلبِ أطوارَ الكراماتِ

وانبذ عن القلبِ أطوارَ الكراماتِ

Wear out the riding camels on the journey to the Lord of the heavens.

Seek the path to the Lord of the heavens,

And cast from your heart the varied forms of miraculous gifts.

And cast away from your heart the phases of mirages.

واعكف بشاطىء وادي القدس مرتقياً

واعكف بشاطىء وادي القدس مرتقياً

واخلع نعالك تحظى بالمناجات

واخلع نعالك تحظى بالمناجات

And abide in devotion on the bank of the valley of holiness, ascending.

Settle on the banks of the holy valley, ascending,

And take off your sandals; you will attain intimate communion.

And remove your shoes to be blessed with intimacy.

وغِب عن الكونِ بالأسماء يا سندي

وغِب عن الكونِ بالأسماء يا سندي

حتى تغيب عن الأسماء بالذات

حتى تغيب عن الأسماء بالذات

And lose awareness of the cosmos through the Names, O my support,

Disappear from the universe through the names, O my support,

Until you lose awareness of the Names through the Essence.

Until you disappear from the names through the essence.

ولُذ بجانب فرد لا شبيه له

ولُذ بجانب فرد لا شبيه له

ولا تعرِّج على أهل البطالات

ولا تعرِّج على أهل البطالات

And take refuge beside the Unique One, who has no equal.

Take comfort beside the Unique One with no equal,

And do not turn aside toward people given to idle pursuits.

And do not stop by the people of idle talk.

بل صُم وصلِّ وفكِّر وافتقر أبداً

بل صُم وصلِّ وفكِّر وافتقر أبداً

تنل معالم مِن علم الخفيَّات

تنل معالم مِن علم الخفيَّات

Rather, fast, pray, reflect, and be ever in need.

Rather, be silent, connected, contemplating, always needy,

You will attain signposts from the knowledge of hidden things.

To attain the marks of the knowledge of mysteries.

فقد قضى الله بالميراثِ سيّدنا

فقد قضى الله بالميراثِ سيّدنا

لكلِّ عبدٍ صدوق ذي تقيات

لكلِّ عبدٍ صدوق ذي تقيات

For God, our Master, has decreed an inheritance

For God has decreed the inheritance, our Master,

For every steadfastly truthful servant endowed with piety.

For every truthful and devout servant.
