إنَّ السماءَ برجمها محفوظة

إنَّ السماءَ برجمها محفوظة

من كلِّ شيطانٍ وكلِّ رجيم

من كلِّ شيطانٍ وكلِّ رجيم

Indeed, heaven is guarded by its pelting,

The sky with its stars is protected

from every devil and every accursed one.

From every outcast devil and accursed one

أوحى الإله الحق فيها أمرها

أوحى الإله الحق فيها أمرها

لتنزلَ الأرواحُ بالتعليم

لتنزلَ الأرواحُ بالتعليم

God, the Real, revealed within it its command,

God revealed in it His command

so that the spirits might descend with instruction,

So that the spirits may descend with wisdom

منها إلينا ثم تبقى أعصراً

منها إلينا ثم تبقى أعصراً

في عالم الأركانِ بالتدويم

في عالم الأركانِ بالتدويم

from it to us, then remain for ages

From it to us, then remain for ages

in the realm of the elements, through perpetuation,

In the world of pillars with persistence

حتى إذا ما ينقضي الأمد الذي

حتى إذا ما ينقضي الأمد الذي

قلناه جاء إليّ بالتفهيم

until, when the allotted span ends—the span that

we spoke of—it comes to me bringing understanding.

That we mentioned, it comes to me with notification

فتراه أبصار العباد مشاهداً

فتراه أبصار العباد مشاهداً

في عالمِ الأخلاطِ والتجسيم

في عالمِ الأخلاطِ والتجسيم

Then the servants' eyes behold it made manifest

So the eyes of servants see it witnessed

in the realm of mixtures and embodiment.

Protection is only for what is within it of the

ثم القوابلُ قسمته بذاتها

Then the receptacles divided it through their own essence,

between something known and one who knows.
