أهل الهلالُ لشهرِ الصيامِ

أهل الهلالُ لشهرِ الصيامِ

وشهرِ الزكاة وشهرِ القيامِ

وشهرِ الزكاة وشهرِ القيامِ

The crescent appeared for the month of fasting,

The people of the new moon for the month of fasting

And the month of almsgiving and the month of standing in prayer.

And the month of alms and the month of standing in prayer

فصامَ الحكيم على اسمِ الصفاتِ

فصامَ الحكيم على اسمِ الصفاتِ

وأفطر ذاتاً بدارِ السلامِ

وأفطر ذاتاً بدارِ السلامِ

So the sage fasted under the name of the attributes,

So the wise one fasted in the name of attributes

And broke his fast in essence in the Abode of Peace.

And broke his fast with the abode of peace

وقال أنا الحق فاستمعوا

وقال أنا الحق فاستمعوا

بنور التجلي وحسِّ الكلامِ

بنور التجلي وحسِّ الكلامِ

And said, “I am the Truth,” so listen

And said "I am the Truth so listen

With the light of self-disclosure and the sound of speech.

With the light of manifestation and sense of speech"

تعالى الهلالُ بأوصافه

تعالى الهلالُ بأوصافه

على بدرِه الفردِ عند التمام

على بدرِه الفردِ عند التمام

The crescent rose high with its attributes

The new moon rises with its attributes

Above its unique full moon at completion.

On its full moon at the time of perfection
