يبينُbecomes clear للمنكرto the denier المحجوبِthe veiled one فيin الجدثِthe grave
The difference between the eternal in essence and temporal occurrence
The difference between the old self and the new
Becomes clear to the denier, veiled in the grave.
Shows the denier obscured in the grave
فاصبرso be patient عليهwith him ولاand do not تحفلْpay heed بصولَتِهto his onslaught
ماas long as دامhe remains فيin عالمِthe realm of التقييدlimitation بالخبثِthrough foulness
So be patient with him, and pay no heed to his onslaught,
So be patient with him and don't mind his clamor
So long as he remains in the realm of limitation through foulness.
As long as he is in the world of filth and sin

Time moves him onward, if only he understood it.
Time would make him understand if he could
I have an old man's name, from that of the middle-aged man and the youth.
The name of an old man from the name of youth and adolescence
هذيthis شبيبتهhis youth هذيthis كهولتهhis middle age

This is his youth; this is his middle age.
This is his youth, this is his maturity
This is decrepitude; it is never free of change.
This is old age, inseparable from renewal
فماso whatever ترىyou see طيباًwholesome يلذُّdelights مطعمهits taste
ألاdo you not ترىsee ضدَّهits opposite المنعوتَdescribed بالخبثِas foul
So whatever wholesome thing you see, delightful in taste—
So you don't see anything good that has a pleasant taste
Do you not see its opposite, described as foul?
Unless you see its opposite described as rotten

Where are the loved ones, the gathering of females and males
les, when they put together a tune based on foulness?
When they gather in song on indecency

ماwhat قلتهI said it فاسترحso rest فيهin it أوor اكترثtake heed
For there is nothing there but a distinction, made clear
So there is no difference except what I told you
By what I have said; so find rest in it, or take heed.
So find peace in it or be concerned
