الحمد لله حمداً لا يقاومه

الحمد لله حمداً لا يقاومه

تحميدُ حمدٍ ولا تحميدُ حمادِ

تحميدُ حمدٍ ولا تحميدُ حمادِ

Praise be to God, with a praise that cannot be rivaled

Praise be to God, praise that cannot be resisted,

By the glorification of praise, nor by the glorification of a constant praiser.

The praise of One Worthy of Praise, not the praise of the praisers,

لا حَمدَ يعلو كحمدِ الحمدِ فاحظ به

لا حَمدَ يعلو كحمدِ الحمدِ فاحظ به

إنْ كنتَ تحمده فصدقه بادِ

إنْ كنتَ تحمده فصدقه بادِ

No praise rises like the praise of praise; so take joy in it.

No praise can rise higher than the praise of the Praiseworthy One, perceive Him through it,

If you praise Him, its truth is manifest.

If you praise Him, meet it sincerely,

فهو الثناء الذي لا مَيْنَ يصحبه

فهو الثناء الذي لا مَيْنَ يصحبه

ولا يجوزُ عليه خَرْقُ معتاد

ولا يجوزُ عليه خَرْقُ معتاد

For it is the praise that no falsehood accompanies,

For He is the Praise that no blemish accompanies,

Nor can any breach of the customary apply to it.

Nor is encroaching upon Him something customary.
