جالَroamed عَلىabout حُجرَتِهِhis chamber مدلويهMadlawayh
جالَ عَلى حُجرَتِهِ مدلويه
فويهِso, fie! مِنbecause of أَفعالِهِhis deeds ثُمَّthen وَيهfie!
فويهِ مِن أَفعالِهِ ثُمَّ وَيه
Madlawayh roamed about his chamber.
He passed by his room all drunk
So, fie upon his deeds, then fie!
With his actions then oh my!
كَأَنَّهُas though he were الرَحبِيُّal-Rahbi فيin حمقِهِhis foolishness
كَأَنَّهُ الرَحبِيُّ في حمقِهِ
فَلَعنَةُso, the curse اللَهِof God عَلىupon والِدَيهhis parents
فَلَعنَةُ اللَهِ عَلى والِدَيه
He is like al-Rahbi in his foolishness.
As if he were Al-Rahbi in his idiocy
So God's curse be upon his parents!
So may the curse of God be upon his parents
