كَأَنيَas though I were مِنamong أَخبارِthe predicates of إِنَّinna (indeed) وَلَمand did not يُجِزpermit
كَأَنيَ مِن أَخبارِ إِنَّ وَلَم يُجِز
لَهُfor it أَحَدٌanyone فيin النَحوِgrammar أَنto يَتَقَدَّماcome first
لَهُ أَحَدٌ في النَحوِ أَن يَتَقَدَّما
It is as though I were one of inna's predicates, and it has not been permitted
As though from her tidings "indeed", and none
by anyone in grammar to come first.
Has precedence in grammar over her and I.
عَسىperhaps حَرفُa particle جَرٍّgenitive government مِنfrom نَداكَyour generosity يَجُرُّنيdraws me
عَسى حَرفُ جَرٍّ مِن نَداكَ يَجُرُّني
إِلَيكَto you فَأضحيand so I become مِنfrom زَمانيmy times مُسَلَّماsafe
إِلَيكَ فَأضحي مِن زَماني مُسَلَّما
Perhaps a preposition from your generosity will draw me
May a preposition from your call pull me
to you, so I may be safe from my times.
To you, surrendered to my time and crime.
