تَبارَكَ اللَهُ أَعطى الناسَ ما سَأَلوا

تَبارَكَ اللَهُ أَعطى الناسَ ما سَأَلوا

صَفواً وَكالَ لَهُم بِالزائِدِ الوافي

صَفواً وَكالَ لَهُم بِالزائِدِ الوافي

Blessed is God: He gave people what they asked for,

Blessed is Allah, who granted people what they asked for

pure and unalloyed, and measured it out to them with an ample surplus.

Pure and complete, with abundant excess

فَالحَمدُ لِلَّهِ شُكراً إِنَّني رَجُلٌ

فَالحَمدُ لِلَّهِ شُكراً إِنَّني رَجُلٌ

ما بارَكَ اللَهُ لي إِلّا بِأَضيافي

ما بارَكَ اللَهُ لي إِلّا بِأَضيافي

So praise be to God in gratitude; indeed, I am a man

So praise be to Allah, with thanks - I'm a man

blessed by God only through my guests.
