وَلي حاجَةٌ في جَنبِ جودِكَ سَهلَةٌ

وَلي حاجَةٌ في جَنبِ جودِكَ سَهلَةٌ

وَلكِنَّها عِندي تجلُّ وَتَعظُمُ

وَلكِنَّها عِندي تجلُّ وَتَعظُمُ

And I have a request, slight beside your generosity,

I have little need when faced with your generosity

Yet to me it is momentous and great.

Yet to me it looms large and grows

فَإِن تُولِنيَها أَحتَسِبها صَنيعَةً

فَإِن تُولِنيَها أَحتَسِبها صَنيعَةً

أَقومُ لَها بِالشُكرِ ما قامَ مَوسِمُ

أَقومُ لَها بِالشُكرِ ما قامَ مَوسِمُ

So if you grant it to me, I shall count it a favor

If you grant it, I'll count it a favor

For which I shall give thanks as long as festivals are held.

And thank you for it as long as the season allows
