غَياثٌ فَاِسمَعوا قَولي وَعَمروٌ

لَهُم عِندي أَحاديثٌ ظَريفَه

Ghiyath—so hear my words—and Amr:

Ghayaath, so listen to my words, and Amr

I have amusing tales about them.

To me they have elegant tales

فَزانٍ ما عَلَيهِ مِن جُناحٍ

فَزانٍ ما عَلَيهِ مِن جُناحٍ

وَقَوّادٌ بِتَوقيعِ الخَليفَه

وَقَوّادٌ بِتَوقيعِ الخَليفَه

So, a fornicator with no blame upon him,

Zan is blameless

And a pimp by the caliph's signed decree.
