هُوَ السَّبيلُ فَمن يَومٍ إِلى يَومٍ

Such is the way, from one day to the next,

As though it were what the eye shows you in sleep.

لا تَعجَلَنَّ رُوَيداً إِنَّها دُوَلٌ

لا تَعجَلَنَّ رُوَيداً إِنَّها دُوَلٌ

دُنيا تَنَقَّلُ مِن قَومٍ إِلى قَومِ

دُنيا تَنَقَّلُ مِن قَومٍ إِلى قَومِ

Do not be hasty; take it slowly—it is shifting fortune:

A world that passes from one people to another.
