مَنْwhoever قالَspeaks بالمُرْدِin favor of beardless youths فإنيthen indeed I am امرؤٌa man
مَنْ قالَ بالمُرْدِ فإني امرؤٌ
ماليI have no إلىtoward النسوانِwomen مِنْany شَوْفِlonging
مالي إلى النسوانِ مِنْ شَوْفِ
Whoever speaks in favor of beardless youths—then indeed I am a man
He who talks with scorn, I am a man
with no longing for women.
Who has no desire for women's love
منْwhoever كانis فيهمamong them بالخناin lewdness عاملاًengaged
منْ كان فيهم بالخنا عاملاً
أوor ناظراًgazing كالمرءِlike a man مستوفِtaking his fill
أو ناظراً كالمرءِ مستوفِ
Whoever among them engages in lewdness,
He who acts deceitfully with them
or gazes like a man taking his fill.
Or gazes like a lustful man
