رفيقٌa companion وافرُabundant in الفضلِmerit
رفيقٌ وافرُ الفضلِ
We were honored by Fath al-Din,
With the opening of religion we were ennobled
a companion of abundant merit.

أيخشىdoes it fear? القفلُthe lock منْof لصٍّa thief
أيخشى القفلُ منْ لصٍّ
أليسَis it not? الفتحُthe opening فيwithin القفلِthe lock
أليسَ الفتحُ في القفلِ
