قالوا لفلانَ أبداً تدقيقُ
فيin حبكlove for you قلتI said يكذبُlies الزنديقُthe heretic
في حبك قلت يكذبُ الزنديقُ
They said, “So-and-so is always scrupulous
They told so-and-so, "Your love is never true"
in his love for you.” I said, “The heretic lies.
I said, "The heretic is telling lies."
مِنْfrom أينَwhere لرافِضيfor a Rafidi هُناhere تصديقُcredence
مِنْ أينَ لرافِضي هُنا تصديقُ
واسميand my name عمرٌUmar وجديَand my forefather الصديقُal-Siddiq (the Truthful)
واسمي عمرٌ وجديَ الصديقُ
How can a Rafidi be given credence here,
How can the doubters here believe it's true?
when my name is Umar and my forefather is al-Siddiq?”
My name is Omar, my grandfather the Truthful.
