فلانُ والينا على رغمِنا

لا باركَ الرحمنُ في عمرِهِ
So-and-so is our governor against our will.

May the All-Merciful not bless his life.

جَفْنتُهُhis serving bowl أضيقُnarrower مِنْthan جفنِهِhis eyelid
جَفْنتُهُ أضيقُ مِنْ جفنِهِ
وقَدْرُهُand his worth أصغرُsmaller مِنْthan قدْرِهِhis cooking pot
وقَدْرُهُ أصغرُ مِنْ قدْرِهِ
His serving bowl is narrower than his eyelid.
I am more narrow-minded than him
And his worth is smaller than his cooking pot.
And my status is lower than his
