Say to Taqi al-Din: far be it from you

Say to the pious, far be it from you

to neglect friend and neighbor.

أنتَ منَ الفردوسِ في جنَّةٍ

أنتَ منَ الفردوسِ في جنَّةٍ

ونحنُ مِنْ بعدِكَ في نارِ

ونحنُ مِنْ بعدِكَ في نارِ

You are in a garden of Paradise,

You are in a paradise of delights

and we, after you, are in fire.
