the minds of the great dignitaries,

The minds of the wise,

ما مثلُ قولي لشخصٍ

ما مثلُ قولي لشخصٍ

حاجيتُهُ سطلُ قارِ

حاجيتُهُ سطلُ قارِ

what is the equivalent of my saying to someone

None can speak like me

whom I challenged with a riddle: 'a bucket of tar'?

To one whose wit is a bucket of tar.
