يا حاملَ النائبِ في حكمِهِ

يا حاملَ النائبِ في حكمِهِ

أنْ يقتلَ النفسَ التي حُرِّمَتْ

أنْ يقتلَ النفسَ التي حُرِّمَتْ

O you who urge the deputy, in his ruling,

O you who carry out the ruler’s decree

to kill the soul that was made inviolable:

To kill the soul that is forbidden

غششتَهُ واللهِ في دينِهِ

غششتَهُ واللهِ في دينِهِ

بُشْراكَ بالنارِ التي أُضْرِمَتْ

بُشْراكَ بالنارِ التي أُضْرِمَتْ

you have deceived him, by God, in his faith;

You have deceived him, by Allah, in his religion

glad tidings to you of the fire that has been kindled!

I give you glad tidings of the Fire that has been kindled
