O you who hold a rank among humankind,
O you whose rank among men is known,
Well known, suggesting your cleverness,
Who is thought wise because of his insight,
مثِّلْgive an example لناfor us أمرَa command امرئٍa man حاضرpresent
مثِّلْ لنا أمرَ امرئٍ حاضر
بأنهُconcerning his being مشتغلoccupied بضرسهِwith his molar
بأنهُ مشتغل بضرسهِ
Give us an example of a command to a man present,
Portray for us the state of one present
Concerning his being occupied with his molar.
As busied with his toothache!
