ياO كاملَperfect الخلقةِphysical form معْdespite فقدِهِhis loss
يا كاملَ الخلقةِ معْ فقدِهِ
لأصبعيهِof his two fingers ماno بذاin this ذامُfault
لأصبعيهِ ما بذا ذامُ
O you of perfect form, despite the loss
O perfect of creation though he lacks
of your two fingers—there is no fault in that.
His two index fingers, what of that?
ليسَthere is no لمعروفِكَfor your kindness سبابةٌforefinger; reviler
ليسَ لمعروفِكَ سبابةٌ
ولاand no لإحسانِكَfor your generosity إبهامُthumb; ambiguity
ولا لإحسانِكَ إبهامُ
Your kindness has no reviling forefinger,
Your good deeds have no forefinger
nor your generosity a thumb—or ambiguity.
Nor has your kindness a thumb
