يا صاحِ حقَّ لكَ التخوفْ

يا صاحِ حقَّ لكَ التخوفْ

وقلةُ السعيِ والتطوفْ

وقلةُ السعيِ والتطوفْ

O friend, you are right to fear,

O owner of truth, your fear is justified,

and to curtail your striving and roaming.

And little effort and wandering about.

لا تقربَنْ بعدها رباطاً

لا تقربَنْ بعدها رباطاً

قَدْ حُرِّقتْ خرقةُ التصوفْ

قَدْ حُرِّقتْ خرقةُ التصوفْ

Do not approach a Sufi lodge after that:

Do not go near any bonds after this -

the cloak of Sufism has indeed been burned.

The cloak of Sufism has been set ablaze.
