ياO آلَfamily of بيتِthe house of النبيِّthe Prophet مَنْwhoever بُذِلَتْwas offered
يا آلَ بيتِ النبيِّ مَنْ بُذِلَتْ
فيin حبِّكمlove for you نفسُهُhis soul فماso ... not غُبِناwas shortchanged
في حبِّكم نفسُهُ فما غُبِنا
O family of the Prophet’s house, whoever has offered
O family of the Prophet, for him who
His soul for love of you has suffered no loss.
Sacrificed himself for love of you, no loss was there
مَنْwhoever جاءَcame عَنْabout بيتِهِhis house يحدِّثُكمtells you
مَنْ جاءَ عَنْ بيتِهِ يحدِّثُكم
قولواsay لهُto him البيتُthe house والحديثُand the tradition لناbelong to us
قولوا لهُ البيتُ والحديثُ لنا
Whoever comes telling you about his house,
He who came from his home to converse with you
Tell him: ‘The house and the tradition are ours.’
Say to him: the home and the conversation are ours
