ربَّ خوْليٍّ بدا مِنْ

ربَّ خوْليٍّ بدا مِنْ

جنَّةْ وهْوَ ينادي

جنَّةْ وهْوَ ينادي

Many a gardener appeared from

My Lord, a youth appeared

a garden, calling out:

Calling from Paradise:

مَنْ يمتْ فيَّ يقلْ خد

مَنْ يمتْ فيَّ يقلْ خد

ي هُدوا سبْلَ الرشادِ

ي هُدوا سبْلَ الرشادِ

“Whoever dies in me says: ‘Cheek—

"Let him who dies for me rest his cheek

—of mine ... they were guided along the paths of righteousness.’”

Upon the path of righteousness."
