دَعْهُ ونتفَ العذارِ إذْ ما
يسَّرَhe made easy وصليmy union حتىuntil تَعذَّرْit became difficult
يسَّرَ وصلي حتى تَعذَّرْ
Leave him to pluck his cheek-down, since
Leave him be and pluck the sweet blooms when
he made our union easy until it grew difficult.
The union was made easy, until it was made difficult
بالنتفِthrough plucking ثمthen النباتthe growth يبقىremains
بالنتفِ ثم النبات يبقى
عذارُهُhis cheek-down السكرَthe sugar المكررْtwice-refined
عذارُهُ السكرَ المكررْ
With plucking and then regrowth, there remains
