العلمُknowledge عنْfrom قلةِscarcity of الغوايهْwaywardness
العلمُ عنْ قلةِ الغوايهْ
Knowledge does not come from abundant narration.
Knowledge is not from narrating aplenty
Knowledge comes from little waywardness.
Rather, knowledge is from straying scarcely
قامَتْrose بماbecause of what قدalready أسأتُI did wrong رايهْa banner
قامَتْ بما قد أسأتُ رايهْ
فهلْso, is there لهذاto this الصدودِshunning غايهْan end
فهلْ لهذا الصدودِ غايهْ
A banner has risen because of the wrong I have done.
It stood by what I had misjudged wrongly
So, is there an end to this shunning?
