كرهْتُ وضوءاً مِنْ قناةٍ تساقُ مِنْ
دماءِthe blood of الرَّعاياthe subjects أوor بِسخرةِby the forced labor of مُسْلِمِa Muslim
دماءِ الرَّعايا أو بِسخرةِ مُسْلِمِ
I loathed ablution from a canal fed by
I hated the ablution from a canal that flows
the subjects' blood or by a Muslim's forced labor.
From the blood of subjects or by the enslavement of Muslims
سيشرقُwill choke فيon يومِthe Day الحسابِof Reckoning ندامةٌremorse
سيشرقُ في يومِ الحسابِ ندامةٌ
كماjust as شرقَتْchoked صدرُthe head القناةِof the canal منَon الدمِblood
كما شرقَتْ صدرُ القناةِ منَ الدمِ
Remorse will choke on the Day of Reckoning,
Regret will shine on the Day of Reckoning
just as the canal's head choked on blood.
