I have a friend, a grammarian, who has gold.
I have a friend who is generous to me
He says, when he sees those reproaching him for his stinginess:
He says when he sees the stingy in their disgrace
إنَّindeed الدنانيرَthe dinars جمعٌa plural لاno نظيرَcounterpart لهُto it
إنَّ الدنانيرَ جمعٌ لا نظيرَ لهُ

فكيفَ أصرف جمعاً لا نظيرَ لهُ
“Dinars are indeed a plural with no counterpart;
"Coins amassed are peerless wealth"
so how can I spend a plural with no counterpart?”
So how could I spend peerless wealth away?
