سألتُهُ عنْ يدِهِ

I asked him about his hand,

I asked him about his hand

and what had hurt it.

قالَ يدي مكسورةٌ

قالَ يدي مكسورةٌ

قلتُ وقلبي معها

قلتُ وقلبي معها

He said, “My hand is broken.”

I said, “And my heart along with it.”
