He said, “My house is bright.”

He said, my home is bright

I said, “By God, it is dark.”

I said by God it's dark

فابنِ بالجورِ قاعةً

فابنِ بالجورِ قاعةً

ستراها مُرَخَّمهْ

ستراها مُرَخَّمهْ

So build a hall with injustice;

So build with injustice a hall

you will see it faced with marble.

You'll see it draped in gloom
