وهْوَand it كانَwas الشفيعَthe intercessor فيَّon my behalf لديهِwith him
وهْوَ كانَ الشفيعَ فيَّ لديهِ
How can I forget the kindness of my beloved's hair,
when it was my intercessor with him?
شَعَرsensed الشعرُthe hair أنهthat he رامَintended قتليkilling me
شَعَر الشعرُ أنه رامَ قتلي
فرمىso it cast نفسَهُitself علىat قدميهِhis two feet
فرمى نفسَهُ على قدميهِ
The hair sensed that he intended to kill me,
so it cast itself at his feet.
