  1. كأنما النرجسُ في

    منظرِهِ الزاهي العجبْ

    It is as though the narcissus, in

    its radiant, wondrous appearance,

  2. أناملٌ منْ فضةٍ

    تحملُ طاساً مِنْ ذَهَبْ

    were fingers of silver

    holding a bowl of gold.
