تنمَّقُ وجهَ الضيا بالظُّلَمْ
An embroidered beauty, like the sky’s full moon,
She adorns the face of radiance with darkness.
سباcaptivated حسنُهاher beauty عقلَthe mind of تطريزهاher embroidery
سبا حسنُها عقلَ تطريزها
ألمْhave … not? تَرَهُyou seen it ليسَis not يشكوcomplaining أَلَمْpain
ألمْ تَرَهُ ليسَ يشكو أَلَمْ
Her beauty has stolen her embroidery’s wits;
Have you not seen it—it complains of no pain?
