الألثغُ الطاغي تولَّى القضا

الألثغُ الطاغي تولَّى القضا

عدمْتُ هذا الألثغَ الطاغي

عدمْتُ هذا الألثغَ الطاغي

The tyrannical lisper has assumed the judgeship.

May I be rid of this tyrannical lisper!

إن سبَّحَ الربَّ حكى سبَّهُ

إن سبَّحَ الربَّ حكى سبَّهُ

فقال سبحانكَ يا باغ

فقال سبحانكَ يا باغ

When he glorifies the Lord, he sounds as though he insults Him,

Saying, “Glory be to You, O transgressor!”
